Strawberry Blush has sold out

Our Strawberry Blush wine sold out during Cedarburg Strawberry Festival this past weekend. We would like apologize to those who were disappointed that they were unable to purchase Strawberry Blush at the festival. We’re thrilled with the popularity Strawberry Blush experienced this year, but we never want our visitors to be disappointed.

We would also like to offer an explanation of why Strawberry Blush ran out this year. Wine is unique in that it is closely tied to its agricultural roots. Unlike with beer or cheese, we can only make wine once a year, after our grape harvest in early fall. If a wine has a burst in popularity, it can run out before the next vintage is available to replace it—and because we only have grapes once a year, we cannot quickly make a new batch of wine to bridge the gap. Unfortunately, this is what happened with Strawberry Blush during Strawberry Festival this year.

We have already started planning for the coming vintages of Strawberry Blush to help avoid shortages next year and in the future. Thank you to all who visited us this year during Strawberry Festival, and to those who keep coming back each year to enjoy the winery and the wines we make.

We hope to see you at Strawberry Festival again next year, and at the winery throughout the year!
